The Andrews-Humphrey Family Foundation oversees an archive of Andrews’ records, writing, photographs, sketchbooks, and other ephemera. We strive to make our archival material available to all educators, students and researchers through individual visits or class visits to the foundation.

The Stuart Rose Manuscript, Archives, and Rare Books Library at Emory University houses The Benny Andrews Papers, an extensive archive of Andrews’ documents, donated by the foundation.

The Studio Museum in Harlem’s archive department oversees a collection of documents and ephemera, donated by Andrews during his lifetime, from The Black Emergency Cultural Coalition and from his collection of ephemera from exhibitions of artists from Andrews’ circle.

The New York Public Library’s Schomburg Center houses an archive of documents from the Black Emergency Cultural Coalition, donated from sources other than Andrews’ files.
